A son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?" The father, despite having a heart condition, said "Yes". They went on to complete the marathon together. This father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying ''Yes" to his son's request to go through the race together. One day, the son said to his father, "Dad, let's join the Ironman together." To this his father said "Yes" .
For those who don't know, the Ironman is the toughest of all triathlons. The race, which takes place in Hawaii, encompasses three endurance events. These include a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ends with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island. Father and son went on to complete the race together.

After you see that video you will want to watch this one which tells the story of the father and son.
Quips and Quotes"We do not earn or merit anything by taking refuge in God. Hiding in something makes no contribution to the hiding place. All it does is show that we regard ourselves as helpless and the hiding place as a place of rescue." John Piper
